Julian Fellowes writes screenplay for “Girl on the Landing”

Julian Fellowes, writer of “Downton Abbey” has written a screenplay of “Girl on the Landing” for producer Robert Jones (The Usual Suspects)

Billed as part love story, part psychological thriller, “Landing” is set in contemporary London and the wilds of Scotland and details the story of a young couple whose dull marriage is transformed when the husband is visited by strange hallucinations.

Fellowes and Jones, who first collaborated on Robert Altman’s “Gosford Park” are in discussions to attach a director to the script.
